Aquaculture is growing in Alaska, and industry members may get more guidance in the coming years through the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration identifying opportunity areas. An engine manufacturer and the Alaska higher education system are partnering to create more technicians capable of fixing outboard motors, the external engines on small and medium size boats.
