Jamie Diep talks to Daniel Hasche, a first time candidate in this year’s city council election. Since this summer, a cohort of Kenai Peninsula drivers and auto workers have been vocal with their concerns about salt brine, a liquid deicing treatment the Department of Transportation uses on roads. Two people were arrested over the weekend in Fairbanks related to a fake jewelry scam.
