The Kenaitze Indian Tribe is getting more than $200k to look into stabilizing an ancestral gravesite in the Kalifornsky area against the threat of bluff erosion; and a flightless bird native to Australia is now making its home on the Kenai Peninsula — at least, in small numbers.
