Singer-Songwriter Andrea Pearson traveled all the way from Nashville, Tennessee to perform at the Seldovia Summer Solstice Music Festival this weekend.

It kicked off Thursday evening and continues Friday and Saturday. It will feature 14 performers and groups, with styles ranging from country western to blues and folk. A number of performers are from Alaska and a few are from the Kenai Peninsula.

Flautist Tomoka Raften and guitarist Armin Abdihodzic and the Anchorage-based band Nervis Rex, both Alaska acts, are headliners.
