     Novelist Tim O’Brien made an apperance Friday at the Mariner Theater. His book “The Things They Carried,” a collection of short stories about the Vietnam War, has been the focus of "The Big Read" in Homer. KBBI’s Peter Sheppard sat down with O'Brien Wednesday for an extended interview.
