How a Fishing Disaster Affects the Local Economy

The local fishing community is still reeling from a season that saw historically low returns of king salmon, which has raised questions about just how valuable fishing is to the local economy.  To help answer those questions, the Kenai Peninsula Borough is looking into a possible economic study in the future.  On this edition of the "Coffee Table," Borough Mayor Mike Navarre and UAA economist Dr. Gunnar Knapp.
