Homer Crowd Joins in Statewide Rally Against Senate Bill 21

     Senate Bill 21 – the state legislature’s controversial measure to overhaul oil taxation – was passed out of the House Resources Committee Thursday, on its way to House Finance. On the same day, hundreds of Alaskans, concerned that the bill is a giveaway to the oil industry, staged protests around the state. KBBI’s Peter Sheppard attended one in Homer and filed this report.
